An increasing number of innovative optical systems using microoptics as enabling technology are currently going to market. This field is very competitive in areas like automotive industries but especially in consumer applications. Optoelectronics, microoptics and microelectronics are merging and scientists and experts from different institutions are working together in a “scientific arena/high-end center”. The aim of the symposium is to increase interdisciplinary collaboration in these three disciplines to raise synergetic effects.
